A pharmacy with history

Farmàcia dels Oms opened its doors in 1941, at number 158 of this street, with the help of the pharmacist Antonio Salvà Abalos, and was moved, in 1973, to number 47, where it is currently located.

From 1979 until today, Francesca Armengol Coll, a graduate of the University of Barcelona and from a family of pharmacists, was added to her son Josep Maria Torrens in 1998. Armengol, who also holds a degree in Pharmacy from the same university and became a co-graduate in 2004.

Throughout its years of history, the pharmacy has become a benchmark rooted in the neighborhood, which retains the traditional essence of the pharmacy, while adapting to the changes that have been developed in the city and new technologies. Always focusing on personalized pharmaceutical care, with the aim of helping to prevent and improve people’s health.
